ANZACATA is developing specialist ‘Colleges’ which operate autonomously with the support of the association. A College can be based on region, creative modality, or special interest. Each College can include CAT (Creative Arts Therapy) Groups. CAT Groups can also operate as a stand alone group. Representatives of the Leadership Group of each College will be invited to the Advisory Group to advise the Board.
If you have an idea for a College that you would like to see developed, please email Rachel Portelli. At the inaugural ANZACATA conference in Perth in December there will be a session of convocations which will seed the start of a number of Colleges.
Some examples could be:
These Colleges can develop their own title, direction and way of operating. They will elect their own Leadership Group and representative to sit on the Advisory Group to liaise with the Board. The Colleges will be able to apply for funding to assist with their activities.
If you are interested in establishing a College, please visit the College page in members' section of this website to access the online forms.
