In November last year our CEO was approached by Associations Forum to give a presentation on how she has led ANZACATA. Kate gave this presentation to 35 associations ranging from the National Stroke Foundation, to Occupational Therapy Australia to the Master Builders Association and the Council of Presidents of Medical Colleges. Associations Forum summarised the event as…
When strong leadership meets vision and persistence, remarkable change is possible. Since 2021, ANZACATA has grown from 1,200 to over 2,000 members – an impressive achievement in a sector where growth had previously stalled. Under Kate's leadership, the Association has introduced CPD, strengthened its governance, built robust partnerships with universities, and gained respect across the profession.
Leadership in times of instability is never easy. Through resilience, advocacy, and a commitment to good governance, ANZACATA is now in a new era of stability and credibility. With nearly everything in place – from constitution to policy frameworks – ANZACATA is well positioned for even greater impact, including international recognition and future grant opportunities. This session will explore how effective leadership can transform not just an organisation, but an entire profession.
