"Our supervision together will explore the joys and challenges of nurturing, supervising and mentoring fellow therapists and the ways in which we transition into this part of ourselves and our role in the ongoing growth of our professional field. We will discuss and express how we lean into our responsibilities, share our practice wisdom, and face our own vulnerabilities and challenges in the field while supporting others." - Amanda Hall

Each session will include an arts-based activity, tabling of topics, selection of topics for the session (members will take turns) and a closing activity.

There will be 5 monthly online sessions (each session is 90 mins long) and the total cost is $250 (paid upfront).

Supervision objectives:

  • Explore supervisory responsibilities, roles and ways to engage with others' practice challenges
  • Reflect upon the relational alliance we build with each supervisee
  • Understand the wisdoms and experience we can offer fellow therapists in their professional growth and ethical practice
  • Consider our capacity to support self-care and burnout prevention
  • Reflect on companioning therapists as they craft their unique professional identity
  • Explore how we take care of ourselves as a supervisor

We keep our events as affordable as possible and need to pay presenters the fee they request. While we understand sometimes urgent matters come up, if registrants cancel at the last minute, we struggle to pay presenters. A full refund will be given if the cancellation occurs more than 24 hours before the event. If the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the event, 50% of your registration fee will be refunded only to defray our costs.
