ANZACATA Member Insurance Program

ANZACATA is partnered with BMS to offer the ANZACATA Member Insurance program*. The program offers a comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance policy to meet your professional needs, and of course give you peace of mind.

What cover is available to you?

Professional Indemnity (PI) Insurance

You may face situations where your patients look to hold you responsible for injuries they believe are due to your professional services. This is where Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance can step in. PI insurance protects you by ensuring that your legal defence is coordinated and paid for if a claim is made against you. Your PI insurance also covers the cost of patient compensation or damages.

Features include:

  • Australian cover: $10M Professional Indemnity & $10M Public & Products Liability insurance cover per claim
  • New Zealand cover: $10M Professional Indemnity per claim. Public and Products Liability Insurance is optional, speak to BMS for more information.
  • Retroactive cover#
  • Loss of documents

Public & Products Liability Insurance

If a client slipped or fell in your studio you could face a public liability claim. Public Liability insurance may support you in the event a client becomes injured from an accident in your premises like the scenario described. Product Liability insurance can help in the event the use of a product you sell, supply, or manufacture causes injury to a client.

Please note that Public and Products Liability cover is an optional cover for New Zealand members. To add this cover to your policy, please speak to a BMS broker.

Additional cover

If you currently hold a Professional Indemnity and Public & Products Liability policy with BMS, additional cover is available to you. This includes:

  • Business Insurance
  • Entity Insurance
  • Cyber Liability Insurance
  • Personal Accident Insurance

Additional cover may offer greater peace of mind.

How do you apply?

As long as you hold a current ANZACATA practising level or student membership in Australia or New Zealand, you can get cover in minutes. Log in to your ANZACATA member portal and apply for cover in the insurance section. BMS will email all of your important insurance documents once your cover is confirmed.
