Training for Tier Membership

Qualifications Authority accredited training (levels 6 to 8)

ANZACATA currently has tiered levels of membership for those who have graduated from courses that are accredited by the Qualifications Authority of their country. However, ANZACATA is shifting to one level of practising membership in future. Tier level is currently for courses that are Australian qualification framework levels 6-8. Master's level training is the minimum requirement for Professional membership and it will become the only level of training accepted in future. From July 2026, ANZACATA will no longer accept any qualifications that are lower than AQF 9 (Masters level). The courses listed below are accepted in 2025 and for all student members still completing them in 2026, but students who commence enrolment in any of these courses after July 2026 will not be accepted for membership of ANZACATA. This will not apply to existing students of courses lower than AQF 9 that we recognise, nor does it apply to existing practising members who are already members of ANZACATA.  ANZACATA is in the initial stages of exploring options to support Tier members upgrade to Masters equivalent. We are also seeking ideas from existing members on a process that we may implement over the next couple of years to upgrade those on the Tier level. No decisions have been made about what this will entail or the time frame for any implementation.
